Most of "Francine Wilson Designs" silver pieces are made from either sterling silver or,Precious Metal Clay, this is a fantastic medium which comes from Japan and is also very popular in the United States. Basically it is way of carrying precious metals such as Gold, Silver and more recently Copper in a clay base which is fairly easy to work with and is burnt off under a high temperature leaving you with an almost pure silver/gold piece of jewellery.(99.9% silver, Sterling silver contains 97.5%) All my larger pieces are hallmarked by the Birmingham Assey Office giving you piece of mind that you are buying genuine quality silver (smaller pieces will be hallmarked at your request but will incure a small charge).
